Twenty-one years ago, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering and promptly decided to make the best use of it by starting a career in sales. Let’s face it, you don’t get to talk to many people as an engineer.
Over the course of my sales career, I discovered that as much as I enjoyed hitting the road and making sales happen, I enjoyed training people on how to go out and achieve even more through networking and word-of-mouth marketing.
Since then, I have taken every step that I can to learn more, network more and connect more people. In 2006, I joined Business Network International (BNI) and took on the Regional Directorship for the Middle East in 2007. As part of this role, I helped launch new chapters and trained their chapter directors and core group members.
I have also channeled this love of referrals into launching and maintaining the most successful chapter of BNI in the region.
I am also a qualified Master Trainer for The Referral Institute, drawing upon the ten years of experience that I have accumulated to help private companies and networking associations.
When I am not training, attending BNI sessions, kite surfing or teaching salsa, you can find me speaking at different venues around the UAE and abroad, talking about how to live a dream life.
